We meet for your session and have a TON of fun.

I’ll need your dates, which base you’re on, and the number of people in the session. You'll receive a message from and a new client questionnaire. It's your invitation to brag about your child and tell me exactly what you're looking for.
The retainer is 50% of the total session fee and goes toward your final balance.
Once I receive the contract and retainer payment, we'll work together to tailor your session to your child's unique personality and friendships. No bland, dull images here!
A couple days later, you’ll receive an email with a link to download your custom app with your images. You can download and share your photos right from the app—easy peasy!

Whether everything is going smoothly or it's a bit more challenging, I'm there to go with the flow. Photography sessions with kids can be really unpredictable, and as a photographer, I don't push or make things more stressful for my clients—no matter their age.
One thing that I need you to know is kids or adults with physical or neurological differences are not a burden to me. I am here to be patient and move at your child's pace, documenting all the wonderful things about them.
What if my child is awkward in front of the camera or won’t sit still?
I understand how crazy PCS can be—financially and otherwise. All sessions are broken into two parts: the retainer and the final payment. The retainer is the first 50% of your total and is due at booking. The remaining 50% must be paid no less than 24 hours before your session. You're welcome to split the payments with other parents or pay the remainder in more than one payment.

I work fast and efficiently, shooting both posed and in-between moments. My goal is to get the best photos in the least amount of time. BFF mini photo sessions are designed to be quick and easy so kids don’t get bored and parents don’t have to set aside a whole day prepping and taking photos. Making it as easy as possible on you matters to me.
After your session, I’ll get to work culling and editing your photos so you get them back quickly. My current delivery timeframe is about 3 days, so you don’t have to wait long to enjoy your photos.
What if my child is awkward in front of the camera or won’t sit still?
Due to the custom nature of photography, refunds are not offered for sessions. I guarantee every one of my clients gets a rain date to ensure your session has a backup plan so we're more likely to make this session happen than to leave you hanging.
Do you offer refunds?
I'm a firm believer that all bodies are beautiful, so I DO NOT use Photoshop to alter photos. That being said, I also know kids will be kids, and dirt, scrapes, pimples, and bruises happen and I do my best to keep blemishes out of the photos.
Do you use Photoshop to tweak the way we look in the photos?
I take a limited number of sessions each month to ensure every client has a rain date, so I recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance.
Some seasons can be busier than others, such as cherry bloosom season at the end of March/Early April and PCS season from June-August. If you're booking a session during these times, I recommend tryingto book 3-4 weeks in advance, if possible.
How far in advance should I book?
The short answer is: no.
The long(er) answer: I shoot quickly and BFF Mini Sessions are guaranteed a minimum of 25 images, however I usually deliver more. After each session, I cull the images and deliver all the best ones. This keeps you from have 6 images that are almost identical or photos of someone blinking.
